Installing the Guardian Badjr App
The Guardian is an add-on Badjr Application that needs to be installed at the site level. Sites -> Select Site -> BadjrApps (Top Right) -> Manage BadjrApps -> Add BadjrApp -> Select Badjr Guardian -> Click Save
Once you have added the Badjr App (Note: There is a cost attached to the full release following the Beta). You can click on Configure.
You can now insert your USB Flashdrive into the Badjr. The Badjr will automatically detect the USB drive and format it to ext4. Once you see the message line "There is no USB disk plugged into Badjr" disappear you can proceed to click on the Autofix Container issues and Reboot Button.
When this message appears you now need to press the Mode button on the Badjr within 60 Seconds. Please allow up to 2 minutes for this to take affect as the Badjr will reboot.
After the Badjr has rebooted, you can now click on Install Guardian & tick the install toggle button.
The Guardian will now install. This may take a few minutes depending on your internet connection. You will see the following screen while it is installing.
After the installation is complete you can click on Edit Settings to enable the Guardian for the site. Allow some time for the final stages of the Guardian install to complete. Once all 4 system stats are green, you can proceed to configure your Groups.
You can now add a Guardian Groups. Click Add Group and give it a name. Select a source (the devices this rule applies to). This can be a single device, the entire LAN, or a specific range. Once you have completed this, you can select from the curated catergories above and click Save
Click Edit Guardian Group to customize the filer. In this example we will choose the Video tab and select YouTube. One Guardian group can have many services/apps selected.
Click Save.
This concludes the basic setup of Guardian.
